A gold necklace has been found in a woman’s pocket, and the owner says she doesn’t want it anymore.
The necklace, a silver bracelet, has a small diamond embedded in the neck.
It was found in the woman’s purse on the evening of May 26, 2016, by her husband, who noticed the necklace hanging in the bottom of the pocket.
She said it looked like the necklace was made of silver and that she doesn.t want it any more.
“I can’t take it.
I don’t want to have it anymore, but I don.t know what else to do, so I’m trying to figure out what to do,” she said.
Police are now investigating whether the diamond was a stolen item.
“We don’t know if the necklace is stolen or just something that was left in the purse.
We’re looking at a lot of possibilities,” Det.
Sgt. Steve Schmitz said.
The jewelry was first reported to the Calgary Police Service by the woman on Monday.
Investigators have been looking for the necklace since the incident.
“The necklace has come back to us and we’re hoping to find out where it is.
It’s still under wraps, but we’re hopeful that we can get it back, get it cleaned up, get the owner of it, and hopefully that will lead to a criminal charge,” Schmitzy said.
